Fire and Ice
Robert Frost
Some say the world will end in fire;
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

i've always liked the sublime connotations of this piece.
the distinct contemplation and ultimate lack
of an absolute answer is significant to anyone, methinks.
another half-full, half-empty analogy.
which do you choose? (a question for all)

I favor ice. I believe that eventually, ice melts, and turns into the staff of life, water. Where as fire turns into complete nothingness.

its ironic that you picked ice...
ice was the pessimistic choice.
